Newswise — Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is leading the way as the nation’s health care system transitions to more integrated and patient-centered care, according to the 16th annual Health Care’s Most Wired Survey. Cincinnati Children’s was named to the Hospitals & Health Networks Most Wired list for the fourth year in a row.
This comes on the heels of Cincinnati Children’s designation earlier this year as a Stage 7 user of electronic medical records. The Stage 7 award, given to just 3.1% of U.S. hospitals by the Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), recognizes hospitals that “support the true sharing and use of patient data that ultimately improves process performance, quality of care, and patient safety.”
