Newswise — SAN FRANCISCO—ENDO 2013: The Endocrine Society’s 95th Annual Meeting & Expo, has tallied more registrants than any other annual meeting in the Society’s nearly 100-year history.

More than 9,300 registrants traveled to San Francisco to attend ENDO 2013, surpassing the previous record held by ENDO 2006 in Boston. The premier meeting of endocrinology, hormone research and health science wraps up today at the Moscone Center.

“We’re thrilled to have so many members of the endocrinology community joining together to make ENDO 2013 a success,” said William F. Young, Jr., MD, president of The Endocrine Society. “This is a tribute to the quality of the scientific and clinical discussions taking place.”

The Society received nearly 3,000 scientific abstracts for ENDO 2013, second only to ENDO 2006 in Boston.
