In the wake of today's announcement that researchers have found an increased risk of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease deaths among National Football League players, and that the NFL has pledged to donate $30 million to the National Institutes of Health to fund brain injury research, a University of Michigan sports neurologist is available to comment on the issue of athletes and brain injury.
