Members of NSCA rely on these two complementary resources to learn about the latest scientific advances—and to gain the perspective to integrate evidence-based knowledge into their work with clients.

The NSCA journal apps, beginning with the June editions, deliver every issue of SCJ and JSCR in a state-of-the art digital format for easy browsing and great readability. Each issue is delivered directly to your iPad, allowing you to download the full contents to read at your convenience and save to your library for future reference. The app also provides a number of enhanced features, such as the ability to share articles and content via email.

The editors of SCJ and JSCR are developing content for the iPad’s dynamic video and multimedia capabilities. Videos, Podcasts and Other New FeaturesOther new features include a podcast to accompany each new issue of SCJ featuring leading trainers and experts discussing the latest research and evidence-based techniques. The June SCJ podcast, noted expert Erin Fidler discusses training considerations for people with sickle cell trait. To mark the launch of the new iPad Apps, SCJ is bringing back the popular "Point-Counterpoint" column from former NSCA President Lee E. Brown, EdD, CSCS*D, FNSCA, FACSM, who introduces hot topics in the field, such as the June issue’s provoking topic, "Should You Consume or Recommend the Use of Energy Drinks?"

About Strength and Conditioning JournalStrength and Conditioning Journal is the professional journal for strength coaches, personal trainers, physical therapists, athletic trainers, and other health professionals working in the strength and conditioning field.
