Albert Williams, Ph.D.,is an associate professor of finance and economics at Nova Southeastern University’s H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship.

He’s starring in an economic news and information video called “Rock-N-Omics" in which he plays his electric guitar and makes economics fun.

His innovative approach and musical style has inspired young students and others to study business and economics. If you are looking for someone who can take complex subjects and communicate them to the general public, Dr. Williams is a great resource.

Williams' experiences stem from a varied career in academia, economics, and finance in the Caribbean and the U.S. His deep understanding of business and public service grew through positions as a project officer in the Development Finance Corporation in Belize and an agricultural economist for the government of Belize.

Williams has taught courses in personal finance, corporate finance, macroeconomics, microeconomics, and managerial economics. He has provided CBS and NBC in Miami with his expertise on current economic and finance issues and, on several occasions, was featured on the PBS television segment Current Issues. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics education from the University of Calgary in Canada, a master’s degree in agricultural economics and a doctorate degree in agricultural and applied economics both from the University of Georgia.
