She helped establish a cyber security minor at UA and works with UA's cyber security lab, which has a partnership with area law enforcement in Northwest Alabama.

Dr. Dolliver has studied deep web networks and anonymous marketplaces like Silk Road, Silk Road 2 and Tor. Her latest article, “Evaluating Drug Trafficking on the Tor Network: Silk Road 2, The Sequel” was published earlier this year in The International Journal of Drug Policy. Dolliver says a major aspect of the Ulbricht case aside from the sentence is how aware the Feds are about nefarious activities on Tor.
