Stephen W. Dittmore, associate professor of sports management at the University of Arkansas, is available to comment on sport media and communication at the Winter Games. He is one of few faculty researchers in the U.S. who has experience as an employee of the Olympic Organizing Committee. He was on the communications staff in Atlanta in 1996 and Salt Lake City in 2002. He has made presentations at IOC headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland, and to the Torino, Italy, organizing committee.

He spent 12 years working in sport public relations and has worked at sports events in 10 different countries.

He is co-author of the leading textbook in the field, Sport Public Relations: Managing stakeholder communication. He has also published on issues related to sport media, including copyright, the use of blogs and twitter to build team support, and sport celebrity and endorsements.
