“This national recognition reflects our commitment to bring the very best, compassionately delivered and quality-driven medical care to children and their loved ones in this community and to all the patients we serve from around the world,” said the Children’s Hospital of Michigan’s Pediatrician-in-Chief and Wayne State University School of Medicine Chair of Pediatrics Steven E. U.S. News introduced the Best Children’s Hospitals rankings in 2007 to help families of children with rare or life threatening illnesses find the best medical care available. The rankings open the door to an array of detailed information about each hospital’s performance.

“The Children’s Hospital of Michigan is consistently recognized as one of America’s best hospitals for children which exemplifies the commitment of our entire health care team to patient quality, safety, innovations and research for the children and families we serve,” said the Children’s Hospital of Michigan Surgeon-in-Chief Joseph L. We’re honored to be recognized for the unique role we play in caring for the health and well being of children and their families.”

“The Best Children’s Hospitals highlight pediatric centers that offer exceptional care for the kids who need the most help,” said U.S. News Health Rankings Editor Avery Comarow. “Day in and day out, they deliver state-of-the-art medical care.”
