Newswise — Next week is International Lead Poisoning Prevention Week and this year’s theme is "Lead-Free Kids for a Healthy Future." Stony Brook University professor of history Christopher Sellers is an expert in American environmental and health history, and a trained physician.

Sellers can discuss lead poisoning, ‘lead children,’ and the history of lead and its impact on the environment and the body. Sellers is co-editor of Dangerous Trade: Histories of Industrial Hazard across a Globalizing World, and is author of a forthcoming history of the lead and petrochemical industries in Texas and Mexico.
