Gregory McDonald, DO, is chair of forensic medicine and pathology at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and can comment on an array of topics related to autopsies and causes of death.

Dr. McDonald has more than 25 years' experience in the fields of forensic medicine and pathology. He served 14 years as an assistant medical examiner in Philadelphia and currently is the deputy chief deputy coroner for Montgomery County, Pa.

Previously, he has commented on the cause of death of Freddie Gray for The Baltimore Sun; differences in the autopsies of Michael Brown for USA Today; and on several cases of unusual or unresolved deaths for Philadelphia's ABC affiliate.
