Nancy Langston just published an op-ed in the New York Times on the militia takeover of Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon.
Dr.Langston published a book, Where Land and Water Meet, which examined the history of Malheur and wildlife refuges in the West.
She is an expert on: * public lands conflicts in the west, particularly on grazing and logging and wildlife refuges.
* toxic chemical policies.
*Lake Superior environmental issues, particularly iron mining history and environmental impacts.
