Newswise — If Donald Trump doesn’t secure a majority of delegates (1,237) by the end of primaries in early June, a Republican “brokered convention” is almost inevitable, according to Kennesaw State political scientist Kerwin Swint. And while all that wheeling and dealing and horse-trading might make for good television, Swint said, it could tear the party apart.
