Iran’s nuclear negotiations

On November 23, Iran and the U.S. have reached an interim agreement that would limit the Iranian nuclear program and neutralize its stockpile of uranium in exchange for approximately $7 billion in relief from international sanctions. Associate Professor Julian Schofield and Distinguished Professor Emeritus Henri Habib both in the Department of Political Science can share their expertise on the agreement and what it means for the situation in the Middle East.
