Then click on the "Edit My Preferences" link located in the upper left portion of the navigation column, right above the "Logout" button. How to searchSearching the entire database of more than 66,000 news items archived since 1997 provides several opportunities, including finding a rich supply of background information on a wide array of research topics. Our search engine provides you with the powerful ability to select the information you desire. You may use a simple search function on the top right of any of the library sections or the advanced search form. The advance search form has "Search Tips" to help you develop a more thoughtful search strategy. How to find an expertWe offer two ways of finding experts. First, searching the database of news, described in the item above, provides a rich source of experts wrapped in the context of news items for which they were the source. Second, you may write a query, which we forward to the nonprofit institution members of Newswise. Appropriate and interested sources respond directly to journalists. How to find an institution's public information contactYou may search the Newswise Contact Directory, a database of thousands of higher education and research institutions, museums, societies, etc., to find public information contacts (phone, email, address, and website).
