Newswise — The American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) Foundation announced today their new partnership with Bimini, LLC, a scientific leader and innovator for cat and dog products. The ACVIM Foundation is a non-profit organization that works towards eliminating animal and human disease by supporting discovery, education, and partnerships throughout the global community of medicine. Through the Foundation’s externship program and the work of their parent organization, the ACVIM, they support continuing education for veterinarians and technicians through the Journal of Veterinary Internal Medicine (JVIM) and continuing education courses held at their annual ACVIM Forum. The 2013 ACVIM Forum will be held in Seattle, Washington June 12-15.
Bimini started working with the ACVIM Foundation in 2012 by supporting their fund raising efforts in New Orleans and is continuing this work via the ACVIM Foundation’s website and Facebook page. It is part of Bimini’s company philosophy to give back and support the good work coming out of the ACVIM Foundation to continue advancing veterinary specialty medicine while keeping veterinarians and technicians up to date with the latest developments in the field.
