Drug shortages impact every segment of health care and even go beyond the health care industry, with the Department of Defense and Federal Aviation Administration warning that drug shortages are impacting their daily operations.
Edward Mariano, M.D., MAS, chair of the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Medicine Committee will discuss how drug shortages impact anesthesia, pain management and patient care during a policy briefing (Drug Shortages are Harming Patients and Breaking Budgets) Tuesday, Nov. 5, from 11:30am-12:30pm in Washington, D.C.
