Newswise — Babson College selected 16 teams to participate in this year’s 2014 Summer Venture Program. Sponsored by the Arthur M. Blank Center for Entrepreneurship, the 10-week intensive experience is designed to support the most promising graduate and undergraduate entrepreneurs from Babson.

The Summer Venture Program is one of the area’s leading accelerators. It is the only full-time community of entrepreneurs and advisors in the greater Boston area, working together in an open workspace on the College’s campus. The program includes noontime lectures and discussions with notable entrepreneurs, investors, and company advisors on a wide range of entrepreneurship topics and issues.

All of the lessons and experience from the program culminate in the Summer Venture Showcase, a celebration where participants present their work to professional investors and the local community on Thursday, July 31 at 2 p.m. in Olin Auditorium at Babson College.
