Stacey Lee, a Johns Hopkins Carey Business School assistant professor with expertise in the legal aspects of the health care industry, is available to speak to media members about the imminent U.S. Supreme Court decision on the King v. Burwell case that could have a major impact on the Affordable Care Act.

Lee, a member of the Johns Hopkins faculty since 2008, was previously a practicing attorney for 10 years, working as both a trial lawyer and corporate in-house counsel. Her writings have appeared in the Yale Journal of Health Policy, Law and Ethics, Health and Human Rights: An International Journal, and the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy.

She has also authored opinion pieces for Nature Medicine and The Baltimore Sun, and was a guest commentator on Baltimore’s National Public Radio affiliate during an hour-long discussion of the Supreme Court’s ACA ruling in June 2012.

In addition, Lee has been a faculty fellow in the Greenwall Fellowship Program of the Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics and Health Policy and a health law scholar selected by the American Society of Law, Medicine and Ethics and the Saint Louis University Center for Health Law Studies.
