Newswise — WASHINGTON (April 9, 2013) – The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences student-run Health, Education and Active Living (HEALing) Clinic will host their 14th Annual Charity Auction on Thursday, April 11, 2013 in Ross Hall. Refreshments and appetizers will be served. The Online Auction is now open and accepting bids. One hundred percent of the proceeds go directly to supporting the HEALing Clinic.

The HEALing Clinic strives to help expand health care to Washington, D.C. residents facing barriers to access, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. Every Tuesday evening, a team of dedicated medical students, physician assistant students, public health students, and volunteer attending physicians staff the exam rooms and lab and provide health education for patients.
