Newswise — Network and hospital officials celebrated the opening of the Hackensack Meridian Health pharmacy at Ocean Medical Center with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The retail pharmacy expanded services to fill prescriptions for team members, patients being discharged, and to provide hard to find medical supplies and high-quality nutritionals for the community. The new pharmacy expanded its inventory and now offers a one-stop shopping experience for prescription medications, over-the-counter and health care-related products. Items available including wound care dressings, medical equipment (canes, grab bars, reachers, etc.), stockings for vascular patients, cast covers, post-stroke aids (spoons, forks, bowls, etc.), aromatherapy and natural remedies, blood pressure machines, diabetes testing kits, and more.

Ocean Medical Center is one of the first Hackensack Meridian Health hospitals to expand the outpatient pharmacies to create a new standard across the network.  The pharmacy is conveniently located on the campus of Ocean Medical Center and is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.
