What: Registration is now open to journalists planning to attend the American Academy of Neurology’s (AAN) 66th Annual Meeting in Philadelphia, April 26 to May 3, 2014. With more than 10,000 attendees, the Annual Meeting is the world’s largest gathering of neurologists who come together to share the latest advances in neurologic research through more than 2,300 poster and platform sessions, key lectures, and 177 education programs on 18 neurology topics.

The AAN Annual Meeting Press Room serves hundreds of print, broadcast, and online reporters from around the world.

Key Dates Before and During the Annual Meeting: Non-emerging abstracts of scientific research presentations will be posted online via http://www.aan.com at 4:00 p.m., ET, on Thursday, February 27, 2014, unless otherwise noted by the AAN Media and Public Relations Department. Emerging science abstracts will be embargoed until 12:01 a.m., ET, on Friday, April 25, 2014, unless otherwise noted by the AAN Media and Public Relations Department. Press conferences on emerging science abstracts will begin on Monday, April 28, 2014, and continue throughout the week of the Annual Meeting as presentations are being made. It is recommended that press arrive at the Annual Meeting on Sunday, April 27, 2014.
