Newswise — COLUMBIA, Md. – To support its rapid growth, xG Health Solutions’™ Chief Executive Officer Earl Steinberg, MD, today announced the addition of four executives to his leadership team.
xG Health Solutions, a startup launched in February 2013 by Geisinger Health System, provides Geisinger’s intellectual property and expertise to other healthcare systems around the globe. Geisinger, a Danville, Pennsylvania-based health system, is frequently held up as a national model for developing and implementing advanced healthcare delivery models to improve outcomes and reduce healthcare costs all while cutting down on hospital readmissions.
According to Dr. Steinberg, these additions include: Tatiana Nikitina, chief marketing officer; William J. Chatterton, Jr., chief finance officer; Daniel A. Cooper, chief technology officer; and Herman Jenich, senior vice president, product development and information management solutions.
“Tatiana, Bill, Dan, and Herman are accomplished leaders with proven track records in their respective fields,” said Dr.Steinberg, “This foursome will play a central role in guiding the change management required to help healthcare provider organizations improve quality and control costs by sharing Geisinger’s proven methodologies and innovations.” Tatiana Nikitina, chief marketing officer, brings over 12 years of healthcare marketing experience to xG. As the former vice president of customer development at Vitals, Nikitina bought innovative results-driven marketing to her hospital and pharmaceutical clients. Previously, she worked at WebMD creating innovative marketing solutions for top accounts, and at Bain & Company advising Fortune 500 executives on issues of profitable growth, customer segmentation and operations. Nikitina holds an MBA from the Wharton Business School and a BS degree from Northeastern University.
William Chatterton, chief finance officer, served as chief finance officer at QuadraMed Corporation, Kastle Systems International, and HandySoft where he is credited with yielding strong returns for investors by increasing cash flow and earnings. A seasoned finance leader with a national reputation, he holds an MBA from The American University and a BS degree in Finance from Elizabethtown College.
Daniel Cooper, chief technology officer, comes to xG from Orion Health where he served as a vice president of professional services North America and Global Managed Services and was responsible for growing the Professional Services team seven-fold and successfully launched the Managed Services group. Cooper also founded Intuitive Technical Solutions and was a principal consultant at RK Consulting, serving as interim IT director/CIO for healthcare provider and IT organizations. A graduate of University of California – Irvine with a BS degree in Information and Computer Services, he received the 2006 CIO 100 Award in recognition of his work as interim CIO at Alere Medical.
Herman Jenrich, senior vice president, product development and information management solutions, served as vice president of clinical and financial solutions, enterprise information management at WellPoint. Earlier he was vice president of informatics at Health Management Corporation; vice president of quality and informatics at Empire BlueCross BlueShield; and associate vice president of managed care at IPRO, New York’s quality improvement organization. Jenrich received his Master in Public Policy degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and his BA degree in Biology from Oberlin College. He is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and served for 12 years as a Certified HEDIS Compliance Auditor (CHCA).
