The Petroleum Division of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers has announced plans to hold the Energy Sources Technology Conference and Exhibition ( ETCE 1998 ) February 2-4, 1998 at the Sheraton Astrodome Hotel in Houston. More than 225 technical presentations, workshops and panel discussions focused on key technologies in the fields of: Drilling; Production Operations; Pipeline Engineering; Offshore Engineering; Pipeline Operations; Plant Maintenance.

In-depth technical workshops on Underbalanced Drilling Techniques, Flow Assurance, Corrosion Control, Gas Lift Technology and Reliability Engineering For Improved Process Performance will be offered before and after the regular conference. This gives delegate's the advantage of getting advanced training from industry experts with one registration and one trip away from the office.

Featured speakers will include Roger P. (Pat) Herbert, Vice President, Market Development and Technology, Baker Hughes Incorporated, Keith B.
