Newswise — Babson College’s Mark Donohue, Clean Technology Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Mary Gentile, director of the business curriculum Giving Voice to Values and Babson Senior Research Scholar, and Mark Albion, who served as Babson’s first director of the Lewis Initiative, are among the Top 100 Thought Leaders in Trustworthy Business Behavior in 2010.

The Top 100 Thought Leaders represents the culmination of two years of research by Trust Across America, a company dedicated to unraveling the complexities of trustworthy business behavior. TAA sought the counsel of and requested nominations for this honor from over 150 professionals across the nation. The list was narrowed through an extensive vetting process.

* Mark Donahue: Trust Across America describes Mark Donohue as a “Pioneering leader in creating the Cleantech venture capital industry. Leader in socially responsible investing for 20 years. Successful serial entrepreneur.” Donohue is a Partner at the venture capital fund Conscious Living Ventures, and Executive Chairman of TripAlertz.com, which provides extreme discounts for premium leisure travel. He serves as a senior adviser to Bright Energy Storage Technologies, which is working to solve grid-scale energy storage problems. He is also the founder of Sustainable Impact Investing, which advises venture funds, corporations, and family offices on sustainability practices and investment strategies. Donohue earned his BS in Investment Management from Babson, and has served on the College’s Board of Overseers since 2002.

* Mary Gentile’s Giving Voice to Values is a pioneering approach to values-driven leadership. It is being piloted in over 100 business schools and organizations around the world. She is author of the new book from– Giving Voice To Values: How To Speak Your Mind When You Know What’s Right (Yale University Press, 2010) – recently selected as the IBM Competitive Edge Book Club Selection for 2010 Q4. While at Harvard Business School, Gentile was a principal architect of Leadership, Ethics and Corporate Responsibility, which served to integrate Business Ethics into their graduate management curriculum.

* Mark Albion served in the Office of the President at Babson College where he was the first director of the Lewis Initiative, helping to integrate social values into the college. He was a student and professor at Harvard for 20 years, after which he co-founded six organizations, including Net Impact.
