Want to help fight hunger but low on funds? The University of Rhode Island's Alan Shawn Feinstein Center for a Hunger Free America suggests a cost-free, simple way to help those in need.

All you have to do is click on http://www.helpthehungry.org and Cranston philanthropist Alan Shawn Feinstein will donate $5 for every person -- up to $1 million.

"Each year for the past six years I've given away $1 million to non-profit agencies and houses of worship helping the hungry throughout the country. If my website gets 200,000 clicks on it, I'll do it again." Feinstein promises.

"Clicking on the website is one way to support the anti-hunger movement and the efforts of the Feinstein Foundation, which has been a leader in working towards making Rhode Island a hunger-free state," said Kathleen Gorman, director of URI's hunger center.

Only one click per person counts so e-mail your family and friends to click on the website, too.

Don't forget to tell your local anti-hunger agency or house of worship about this money so that they can share in the bounty. To register, all they have to do is call 467-5155 or e-mail the website. There is no cost or obligation.
