Explore Frontiers of Science at Congressional Exhibition

Newswise — Fascinating explorations through a broad spectrum of science will be highlighted at the Coalition for National Science Funding (CNSF) 12th Annual Exhibition & Reception. The exhibition and reception will be held 5:30 to7:30 PM on Wednesday, June 7, 2006, in Rooms B338-340 of the Rayburn House Office Building, Washington, DC.

The nearly 35 exhibits will emphasize leading research and education projects supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF). Members of Congress, their staff, officials of the NSF, The White House and the media are invited to attend the exhibition and reception. Last year's event drew more than 375 attendees.

The Coalition for National Science Funding is an alliance of more than 100 organizations united by a concern for the future vitality of the national science, mathematics, and engineering enterprise. CNSF supports the goal of increasing the national investment in the National Science Foundation's research and education programs in response to the unprecedented scientific, technological, and economic opportunities facing the United States.
