Newswise — Kimberley J. Hansen, M.D., professor of surgery and interim chair of the Department of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, has been inducted into the Halsted Society.
The Halsted Society, one of the oldest and most prestigious surgical organizations in the country, encourages the exchange of ideas, free and informal discussion, and a spirit of sociability and good fellowship among its members.
Hansen serves as program director of the accredited vascular surgery fellowship program and director of the Clinical Vascular Laboratory.
