The ABRF Core Rigor and Reproducibility Committee (CCoRRe) was selected as one of five winners of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) Rigor Champions Prize for their work to raise awareness and promote adoption of rigorous and transparent practices within the core facility community.
The ABRF DEI Award was created to honor, celebrate, and give due recognition to individuals, groups, or organizations whose work has contributed to a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable scientific community. Previous recipients include the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP), 500 Women Scientists, and Dr. Tshaka Cunningham.
ABRF (the Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities) disagrees with the Supreme Court’s decision not only because of its impact on black, brown, and indigenous students who seek opportunities at elite universities, but also because of the ripple effect this decision will have in the way diversity, equity and accessibility are understood in a country that still grapples with a history and a present challenge of racial injustice.
The Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities (ABRF) 2023 Annual Meeting will be held May 7-10 at the Sheraton Boston Hotel. This year’s meeting focuses on Driving Collaborative Science, and features dozens of sessions on timely topics on the latest technology and strategies for shared research resources.
The Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities (ABRF) Executive Board is pleased to announce the approval of several innovative studies to be conducted by ABRF Research Groups in 2023, to address ongoing questions in biomolecular research techniques and methods.
