The object is illuminated by a tungsten-halogen lamp emitting white light with an infrared component from 200 to 3000 nm. The lens projects the object onto the DMD, which, along with CQD filters, encodes spatial and spectral features. A single-pixel InGaAs detector records overall signals. By correlating recorded light intensity with CQD filter and DMD modulation, efficient image and spectral reconstruction for each pixel are achieved.
