Newswise — Olin College is included in Princeton Review’s just released 2019 Best Value Colleges. In addition to the overall listing, Princeton Review also named Olin as #2 for best internships and #23 for financial aid.
“The very best way for students to get a sense of what they want to do in the real world is to help them strengthen their technical skills while aligning their passions with their future. Princeton Review noted that: “Olin’s forward-thinking initiatives, close student-faculty relationships and emphasis on real-world problems and solutions prepare students to enter the job market not just as valuable employees, but as potential innovators and entrepreneurs.”
Princeton Review’s selections of Best Value Colleges are based on an ROI (Return on Investment) rating score that it developed for this project. The rating consists of more than 40 data points, including institutional data from 658 institutions, a survey of students at those colleges, and PayScale.com data (collected through April 2018) from alumni surveys covering starting and mid-career salaries as well as career social impact.
This annual book and its seven ranking lists (which focus on different aspects of financial aid and career preparation) is The Princeton Review’s guide for college shoppers seeking affordable, academically outstanding colleges that stand out for their success at guiding students to rewarding careers.
Olin offers every student a four-year, half-tuition scholarship valued at more than $100,000 over four years. In addition, the college commits to meeting full financial need for students and families eligible for further financial assistance.
This past August, Olin also was recognized as one of Princeton Review’s 2019 Best 384 Colleges.
