The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, has several faculty members who are available to talk about U.S. possible intervention in Syria:

Brandon Prins, professor of political science, can talk about the political struggle between the President and Congress over the authorization to use force, the possible effects of a U.S. strike, and international reaction to U.S. actions. He can also talk about basic treaties that prohibit the use of chemical weapons and the laws of armed conflict, what is permissible and what is deemed out of bounds, and how states can or might respond to violations of these rules.
