Newswise — K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital at Jersey Shore University Medical Center is proud to announce the grand opening of K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital Specialty Care Center, a consolidated outpatient pediatric center serving as the new home of Meridian Pediatric Associates. The center provides pediatric specialty care services in a comfortable and friendly environment, and is an important first step of the hospital’s new pediatric expansion project.
Since 2005, K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital has experienced tremendous growth in the demand for specialty care services. The new 25,000 square foot Pediatric Specialty Care Center includes six clinical suites and 35 exam rooms, along with areas dedicated to health education. The comfortable and modern space allows caregivers to provide pediatric health services in 11 different areas, including gastroenterology, endocrinology, hematology/oncology, infectious disease, nephrology, infant apnea, pulmonology, sports medicine, neurology, child evaluation, and child protection services. According to Steven Kairys, M.D., Co-Medical Director, K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital, “This expansion is a critical component of the growth of K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital. Children and families deserve a space that is comforting, supportive, and safe.”
K.
