Newswise — Chicago IL: Top residents, fellows, and students who specialize in hematology/oncology pharmacy were recognized at the recent Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA) Annual Conference this past March for their Trainee Research in Progress submissions. The HOPA Annual Conference gives hematology/oncology pharmacy professionals the opportunity to present their work in poster form within an atmosphere of support by peers and national leaders. Applicants submitted their original research projects in two categories - Clinical/Translations Research and Practice Management. Encore presentations from a previous meeting were also allowed. From a pool of 145 Trainee Research in Progress poster submissions, 10 finalists were selected. The winner was selected based on a rigorous in-person review and evaluation.
