Newswise — U.S.News & World Report magazine has ranked Babson College the #1 MBA program for entrepreneurship for the 13th year in a row.

Besides Babson, other top five entrepreneurship programs are Stanford University, University of Pennsylvania (Wharton), Harvard University, and the University of Southern California (Marshall).

"This is a particularly gratifying accomplishment when combined with our number one ranking by the Financial Times. The ranking is another symbol of Babson's leadership in advancing entrepreneurship education and practice throughout the world," said Vice Provost for Entrepreneurship and Global Management Stephen Spinelli, Jr.

Mark Rice, Murata Dean, and Jeffry A. Timmons Professor of Entrepreneurial Studies emphasized, "Babson MBAs have an entrepreneurial mindset -- focused on opportunity recognition, creative thinking, constant innovation, and business-building. These skills are vital for launching and growing new businesses, products, services, processes, markets and business models -- both in the start-up and corporate arenas."

Additionally, U.S. News has ranked Babson's MBA program #49 overall, up from #51 in 2005 and #53 in 2004.
