Dr. Jacob DeLaRosa, M.D.

Dr. DeLaRosa is Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgical Services at Portneuf Medical Center and faculty at Idaho State University in Pocatello Idaho. Dr. DeLaRosa specializes in open-heart surgery, thoracic surgery, and is one of the few trained cardiac surgeons that is an expert in peripheral and endovascular surgery.

Dr. DeLaRosa has attained numerous achievements, awards, and honors and is recognized as a leader in the field of cardiothoracic surgery. Most notably Dr. DeLaRosa serves on the FDA congressionally mandated Risk Communication Advisory Committee.

Abigail Traul

Traul is a board-certified specialist in Oncology Nutrition and has practiced as a registered dietitian for 15 years. She currently works at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, ID.

Traul is also considered a registered dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Previously, Traul was named "Employee of the Quarter" for Portneuf Medical Center, was a board member for the Portneuf Healthcare Foundation Endowment, and served as the "Look Good Feel Better Coordinator" for the American Cancer Society.

She received her B.S. degree in Human Ecology from The Ohio State University and completed her post-graduate internship at West Virginia University Hospitals.
