Before accepting this position, Debbie served as Senior Director of Education at the American Academy of Dermatology (AADDebbie also served as a consultant in continuing medical education for several organizations which included medical schools, medical specialty societies, medical education companies, and industry, including the American College of Cardiology (ACC), as Director, Office of Continuing Medical Education at Duke University School of Medicine, and as director of the corporate office of CMS with Sharp Healthcare.
She has served as a Member, Accreditation Review Committee for the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education for the past three years, and as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions. She continues to volunteer as a Surveyor for the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education. She is a frequently published author and presenter on CME and clinician education.
