FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday, Nov. 3, so clocks will “fall back.” This time of year can affect sleep schedules for anyone, including children. It’s important to start planning ahead for the time change to help ensure children stay on track with their bedtime and get a good night’s sleep.
Laura Sterni, M.D., director of the Johns Hopkins Pediatric Sleep Center at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, is available for media interviews on the following topics regarding Daylight Saving Time:
- When to adjust your child’s sleep schedule
- Tips to make the time adjustment easier
- How electronics (computers, smartphones, TV) can affect your child’s sleep
If you want to schedule an interview, please contact Kim Polyniak, communications manager at the Children’s Center, at 443-510-5807 or [email protected].
