Materials scientist Keerti Kappagantula holds ultra-high conductivity copper and aluminum wires that are 5 percent more conductive than regular copper. Kappagantula provides testing parameters and materials types and quantities to a team that uses the specialized ShAPE technology to manufacture it. The new material will be used to develop motors that can be used in the transportation industry.
