In June of 2023, a group of seven PCOM doctor of osteopathic medicine students and one University of Georgia doctor of pharmacy student visited Cambodia to get a firsthand look at rural medicine in the country compared to rural medicine in the U.S. The learning experience began with shadowing health care professionals at Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
