The Aurora exascale supercomputer is comprised of 10,624 blades that make up the machine’s compute power. Each blade includes six GPUs and two CPUs.

One of the early science research projects on Aurora maps blood flow in the human circulatory system in order to understand how cells — specifically cancer cells — are transported. This visualization shows blood flow through an aorta.
