This is a map of the most vulnerable and resilient polar bear populations across Canada. “Genetic Offset” indicates how vulnerable they are to climate change, and therefore areas with higher genetic offsets (colored red/orange) are the most vulnerable polar bears, whereas the areas with lower genetic offsets (colored blue) are the most resilient polar bears. This map is taken from Figure Three in the report.
