Newswise — University of Utah Professor of Law, Amos Guiora, is presently in Israel and available to address the developing situtation in the Gaza Strip.
Guiora, who served for 19 years in the Israel Defense Forces, Judge Advocate Generals Corps, is a widely-recognized expert on international law, operational counterterrorism and the Middle East. Guiora has written extensively on these issues. His most recent books include "Constitutional Limits on Coercive Interrogation" and "Fundamentals of Counterterrorism." He was recently awarded a Fulbright Fellowship relevant to his forthcoming book "Freedom of/from Religion." His op-eds have appeared in numerous American newspapers.
