Newswise — CHICAGO, Jan 15, 2015 – The National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) today announced three new members of its Board of Directors. They are Michael Greer RN, MHA, CPHQ, CJCP, Carrie Donovan, MSA, CPHQ, and Carole S. Pulaski, RN, BSN, MSA, CPHQ.
Greer becomes NAHQ’s President-elect. He is senior director, regulatory and accreditation for LifePoint Hospitals in Brentwood, Tenn.
“It is an honor, thrill and privilege to be part of the NAHQ Board,” said Greer. “Healthcare quality management will become increasingly more complex and demanding for the quality professional as we continue to face the economic challenges, increasing quality measures, limited resources and more demand for expertise. NAHQ will play a key role in supporting quality professionals in clinical and non-clinical settings."
A NAHQ member since 2005, Donovan assumes the position of Secretary-Treasurer. She is a Process Improvement Gemba Coach at Regional Health Rapid City, S.D. Her responsibilities include support for sustaining process improvement activities in several communities.
“I am very dedicated to the advancement of process improvement in healthcare,” said Donovan. “I believe it is time to be a part of NAHQ’s efforts in advancing our profession of healthcare quality.”
Pulaski will serve as a director at large. She is director of accreditation for Centene Corp., a multi-line healthcare enterprise.
“It’s an honor to be selected as new board member for NAHQ along with Michael Greer and Carrie Donovan,” said Pulaski. “My goal is to have NAHQ be inclusive of the comprehensive array of health services spanning all levels of healthcare. I’m looking forward to the challenge as well as the opportunity to make a difference in the health care quality industry.”
