“On the surface, it seemed like stupid robots shooting each other, but there were lessons being taught, even if they weren't intentionally written in,” says Harms.
Dr. Pete Harms has devised a theory about The Transformers, the 80s TV cartoon series, and its impact on leadership development in the show's legion of followers. The findings, capturing the effect on today's up-and-coming management tier who watched the show as children, will soon be published in a book entitled Monographs in Leadership and Management: Leadership Issues from Compelling Contexts.
Selected as one of the "100 Knowledgeable Leaders of Tomorrow," Harms is ready to speak to media about this new and fun research.
