Catherine Liu, MD, is Director, Antimicrobial Stewardship and Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy Program and Associate Director, Infection Control, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance; Associate Professor of Medicine, Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, University of Washington School of Medicine; and Physician, UW Medicine. She has expertise in infections in immunocompromised patients including those with cancer and hematopoietic stem cell transplant recipients. Dr. Liu has led SCCA’s COVID-19 infection prevention efforts and published insights on key issues that cancer care providers should anticipate while managing their patients during the pandemic.
