Newswise — As the nation moves ever closer to hitting its debt ceiling, James Jordan-Wagner, dean of the College of Business at Tennessee Tech University, is available to talk about what might happen if Congress fails to come to an agreement over raising the debt limit in the coming days.
An expert in international debt, Jordan-Wagner has been keeping a close eye on the ongoing debates in Washington, D.C., and the looming possibility of a default. For the past few years, he has also been monitoring what is happening in various European economies and has seen some stark parallels between what is happening here and overseas.
Before joining TTU, Jordan-Wagner served as chairperson of Eastern Illinois University’s School of Business and worked for several years in London for an international New York-based investment firm as a research analyst specializing in sovereign debt in developed countries.
