Journalists can now register to attend the 73rd Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) being held virtually April 17-22, 2021. The AAN Annual Meeting is the world’s largest gathering of neurologists who come together to share the latest advances in neurologic research.

Neurology professionals from across the globe will meet in a completely virtual environment at this year’s Annual Meeting. Highlights include the latest advances in neurologic research through more than 2,000 poster and platform presentations, late-breaking research, key lectures and more than 90 educational courses on topics such as Alzheimer’s disease, stroke, migraine, multiple sclerosis, concussion, Parkinson’s disease and epilepsy.

The AAN Annual Meeting virtual press and media room will serve print, broadcast and online reporters as they cover this research. By registering, journalists will receive embargoed content as well as press conference information and daily updates during the meeting. The AAN Media and PR team will be on hand to connect journalists with experts presenting at the conference.

Key Dates Before and During the Annual Meeting:

  • Non-emerging abstracts of scientific research presentations will be posted online via AAN.com at 4:00 p.m., ET, on Thursday, March 4, 2021, unless otherwise noted by the AAN Media and Public Relations department.
  • Emerging science abstracts will be embargoed until 12:01 a.m., ET, on Friday, April 16, 2021, unless otherwise noted by the AAN Media and Public Relations department.
