Grant Kolar, PhD

My research program is focused on the cell biology of recently deorphanized receptors and their cognate peptides as well as structural cues for cellular function. Specifically I am focused on these interactions at the interface of the retinal pigmented epithelium and underlying Bruch’s membrane of the eye. In addition, I direct the Research Microscopy and Histology Core at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
