AMGA 2016 Institute for Quality Leadership to Focus on Succeeding under MACRA and Risk-Based Payment Leaders to share best practices November 15-17 in San Francisco Newswise — ALEXANDRIA, VA – AMGA will host its 2016 Institute for Quality Leadership (IQL16) November 15-17 at San Francisco Marriot Marquis in San Francisco, California.
IQL16, “Succeeding under MACRA and Risk-Based Payment,” will focus on how medical groups and integrated systems of care are developing financial models, implementing successful leadership structures, and creating innovations in population health in preparation for Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA) and risk.
“MACRA has changed Medicare’s physician financing model in the most significant way since the program’s inception. IQL 16 brings together leaders to discuss and share tangible solutions on succeeding under risk to not only improve healthcare delivery, but also improve care for patients everywhere,” said Donald W. Fisher, Ph.D., CAE, AMGA president and chief executive officer.
This year’s IQL will feature prominent thought leaders speaking in general sessions, as well as peer-to-peer breakout sessions with leaders from some of the nation’s most innovative healthcare delivery organizations. An exhibit hall will host various vendor organizations that support medical groups and health systems.
