AMGA Welcome New Vice President of Public Relations
Newswise — ALEXANDRIA, VA- AMGA welcomes Sharon Grace as its new Vice President of Public Relations. In this position, she will direct the development, integration, and implementation of a broad range of public relations activities relative to the strategic direction, positioning, and branding of the organization. “We are leading the charge to advance high performance health, and Sharon brings the experience and skillset to successfully tell our story,” says Donald W. Fisher, Ph.D., CAE, AMGA’s president and chief executive office. “Her expertise in external and internal brand strategy development and integrated marketing communications programs is a perfect fit for achieving our strategic goals and broadening our reach. We’re thrilled to add her to our team.”
Ms. Grace most recently served as Associate Director of Communications for KPMG LLC. In this position, she created and implemented internal and external communications strategies for multiple major markets, including Washington, DC, Atlanta, and Charlotte, NC. Ms. Grace has successfully led external affairs at prominent associations, including The Optical Society and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. She is accomplished at the creation and execution of strategic messaging, branding, media relations, marketing, web and social media strategy, and public affairs.
